This website

This website does not use analytics, advertising, or tracking scripts of any kind. It does not set tracking cookies. The only place this site collects anything you type is the contact form on the Support page, and that form does not submit to a server — it opens your own email app with your message pre-filled, so you choose whether and how to send it.

The game

Alien Roommate does not include an advertising SDK. It does not include analytics or tracking software. Specifically:

  • Game progress is saved locally on your device by default. Nothing about your save file is sent to us or to a third party.
  • The game does not require you to create an account or sign in to play.
  • The game does not show ads.
  • Photo Moments do not use your device camera and do not touch your photo library. A "photo" is a picture the game draws of your own roommate and room, and it is saved with the rest of your progress on your device.
  • The only device capability the game asks for is a short vibration for haptic feedback, which you can turn off in Settings. On Android that is the standard VIBRATE permission; it grants no access to any of your data.

App store platforms

Alien Roommate is distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play. When you download or purchase the game, Apple and Google process that transaction and may collect information as described in their own privacy policies — that processing is between you and those platforms, and is outside our control. We don't receive your payment details, only confirmation that a purchase was made.

Children's privacy

Alien Roommate is designed to be a cozy, family-friendly game. A final age rating has not yet been set on either store, and this policy will be revisited once ratings are confirmed. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, regardless of age, because the game does not collect personal information at all in its current, local-save-only design.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes — for example, once a legal entity name and contact address are finalized, or if a future update adds any data collection that isn't described here — we will update this page and change the "Last updated" date above.
